Jennifer Hudson performed “Someday We’ll All Be Free” at the White House Celebration of Music from the Civil Rights Movement and as always, delivered a passionate and moving rendition.

J-Hud is fast becoming one of the stand out female vocalists of this generation – her soul stirring performances and incredible ability is definitely setting her apart from many of her contemporaries. Let’s not forget her stunning tribute to Whitney Houston during the BET Honours show. I hope a new album drops soon and I hope it’s better than her debut – she deserves much better material as to what was found on the last record.

Peace, Love & Jennifer Hudson

That was very nice of you to say Jhud is becoming one of the female vocalist standout. That is an understatement. Jennifer Hudson is the best female vocalist in the industry today hands down. She is the only female singer I know who can take a classics and them her very own. The industry is still stuck on stupid, but I am willing to bet Jhud will soon have the top spot where she belongs.
