Jennifer Hudson – “I Will Always Love You”

The third annual “BET Honours” premiered last night in the US. Hosted by Gabrielle Union, the show recognised the accomplishments of Whitney Houston (Entertainment), Queen Latifah (Media) and Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs (Entrepreneur), as well as other  influential (non-entertainment) individuals.

Jennifer Hudson’s spine tingling rendition of “I Will Always Love You” was undoubtedly the highlight of the show. Watching her look directly at Whitney Houston (who was standing up, looking right back at her) while performing Houston’s biggest hit was incredibly moving. However, with performances from Stevie Wonder, Patti LaBelle, Mary J. Blige, Trey Songz, Jazmine Sullivan and more – the night was packed with great entertainment.

Check all the performances out after the jump..
