Solange recently performed some tracks off her album Sol-Angel and the Hadley St. Dreams as well as a cover of Zero 7’s “Destiny” on AOL’s “The Bridge”, check her out…
I thought Solange did a great job! She’s definiely working her own style. I can’t lie, initially I wasn’t feelin’ her album, but after a few listens and after revisiting it – I think it’s pretty dope!
Peace, Love & Solange

The only time you’ll see Lilly Allen on PinBoard is when she does something stupid (like this), or when something like this happens. South East London based AKS jumps on Allen’s “The Fear” and turns it into something I can fu*k with…
Aiight, so now has a new found respect for this track haha! (Ok, I can’t lie, the the original ain’t actually that bad but…) AKS kills it! Definitely feelin’ this version and what he adds to it. And until AKS attacks her entire album, I still refuse to check for it. In anycase, he will be dropping a mixtape soon and course, you can find that right here when it does.
Peace, Love & AKS
Shouts to Marsha for the education!

Lemme just say: oh.my.daze! Ghostface Killa & DOOM on one track? F*ck offfff!? Well, it’s only a 40 second snippet, but that’s enough for you to hear how dope this is. The track comes off the new “GTA: Chinatown Wars” game (hence the picture)…
‘m hoping a full length track drops asap! This is too much!
Peace, Love & Ghostface and DOOM

Asher Roth is in London town at the moment and PinBoard will be linking up with him later today for an exclusive interview we were meant to be interviewing him today, but his schedule was mad crazy and things kept getting pushed back etc and in the end it didn’t happen. Bit peeeved, but it’s all good – sh*t happens. We’ve been promised some exclusive time with Asher when he hits LDN again in a couple months.
…But moving on and in the mean time, Semtex, who also caught up with him, just shot over this lil’ freestyle, where Roth jumps on “Song Cry”…
The dudes talent is undeniable man! His freestyling skills are mad crazy. Definitely excited about seeing how this guy develops. Shouts to Semtex again for sending it over!
Keep it locked on PinBoard for that exclusive Asher Roth interview coming real sooooon!
Peace, Love & Asher Roth

Erm, I ain’t even gonna comment on the title of this song, just that it’s a new track that just hit the TinterNets…
I can’t lie, her voice does not sound hot on this track man. I mean, I know she ain’t the best singer in the world, but this does not sound great. But then, to contradict myself slightly – the tune isn’t half bad. I quite like it?
Dunno how many of you have noticed, but Rihanna is quite literally the most played artist on the radio at the moment. At work, we have the radio on all day (either 1Xtra or ChoiceFM normally) and man, every other song is a Rihanna track or a track that features Rihanna. Madness. Girls making paper eh?
Peace, Love & Rihanna

Check Asher Roth talking candidly about how he got into Hip Hop…
I gotta say, I respect his honestly. A lot of people are afraid to admit they got into Hip Hop late in the game – I don’t really understand why, because for me, what I love most about music (in general) is that you are constantly learning, constantly educating yourself on stuff you ain’t never heard before. But, yea a lot of people don’t really like admitting this typa sh*t, so I think it’s pretty dope that Roth speaks honestly about this and doesn’t try and put on that fake bravado. Yaknow?
